Coaches, Wrestle Like A Girl and USA Wrestling have partnered together to create an online coaching course for those coaching female athletes. It is currently available for free to everyone until September 30th. You do not have to be a member of USA Wrestling to take this course, but you will need a USA Wrestling profile. Here are the steps to follow:

1. Go to www.joinusawrestilng.com
2. If you already have an account, login. If you do not, create a free account profile.
3. Click Manage
4. Click Coach Certifications
5. Click Teal Certification
6. In the drop down, purchase course for and select your name then add course to cart
7. Go to your cart and finalize your cart.
8. Then click Manage and Coach Certifications
9. Click My Courses and complete the course.

The course is free to all until September 30th. Many of our coaches have already taken those course and see the value in better understanding their daily interactions with female wrestlers and what motivates them.It has not been finalized yet, but USA Wrestling is in discussion with the board to make Team Certification a requirement at USA Wrestling regional and national events where girls/women are competing.
