Mott Community College went 4-0 on the day, topping East Carolina University 38-18 in the Championship Dual. Mott finished first in their pool in the morning session, defeating Temple University 54-0, University of Michigan Wrestling Club 46-18, and Penn State University Wrestling Club 34-30. East Carolina won the other pool, besting Macomb Community College 48-12 and the University of Akron 39-22.

The third place dual between Akron and Penn State ended 30-30, and Akron won 31-30 on tiebreaker criteria of first match point scored in the dual. Macomb beat Michigan WC 36-24 for fifth.
