The Emmanuel College Men's Wrestling team had an impressive showing in their first meet of the season against Truett-McConnell University. The Lions were lead by seniors Jeremiah Lutz (149) and Cody Chaney (184) who earned a technical fall and pin, respectively.

EC got off to a strong start in the dual winning their first 5 matches of the night. Truett-McConnell earned their only victory of the match when David Capers edged Emmanuel's Nick Perez (165) by a score of 4-2. The Lions went on to win their last 4 matches to finish the dual with a 44-3 score.
