Marion Military Takes 6th at National Duals
The MMI Tigers earned a 6th place finish at the NCWA National Duals Tournament after dropping their final match to Grand Valley State University 41-14.
In round one Marion defeated University of South Florida 138-24 utilizing a new scoring system. The Tigers defeated University of Texas-Arlington in round two 31-24 under the old scoring system. Middle Tennessee State University defeated Marion 36-18, but the Tigers rebounded to defeat Wayne State 33-20 to earn a place in the fifth place final.
