ApprenĀtice Takes SecĀond In Builder Invitational
The Apprentice School hosted its 34th annual Builder Invitational tournament on Saturday at Woodside High School in Newport News and took second place in the 14-team event.
Sophomore Josh Rodriguez and junior Ian Jones each went 3-0 to win the 197-pound and heavyweight class respectively. Sophomores Jacob Michael and Derek Burhenn were second at 125 and 133 pounds respectively as the Builders had seven wrestlers finish in the top four in their weight classes.
Ferrum College scored 165.5 points to outdistance
