Apprentice Finishes Third At NCWA Mid-Atlantic Conference
The Apprentice School started its post-season wrestling run on Saturday at the National Collegiate Wrestling Association Mid-Atlantic Conference Championships hosted in Johnson City, Tennessee and came in third out of 16 teams.
Four Builders advanced to the finals in their weight classes, but no one came through with a conference crown. Sterling Briscoe made the finals at 149 pounds after opening with a pair of decision wins over Dallin Tritapoe (Southern Virginia/6-1) and Eric Woodard (Liberty/10-4). He lost the final to Peter Tatanish of Liberty 5-0.
