Wild­cats Improve to 5 – 0 in PSUAC with Win over PSU New Kensington

NEW KENSINGTON, Pa. - With the help of six pins, the Pennsylvania College of Technology wrestling team defeated Penn State New Kensington 48-12 Monday. The Wildcats dominated the bouts that saw three pins under one minute. The win improves the team to 5-0 in the Penn State University Athletic Conference and 13-7 overall.
Freshman Cesar Gonzalez (Woodbridge, Va.) recorded his first pin and win on the year taking out Cordell Delzer at 149 in 39 seconds. Junior Tyler Myers (Centre Hall) followed with a pin in 55 seconds over Andrew Floyd at 157. Also recording pins were sophomores Austin Clark (Elysburg) and Paul Crutchlow (Morris Plains, N.J.) and freshmen Daniel Frankenfield (Dushore) and Alex Muller (Sparta, N.J.).
Next up, Penn College travels to Bucknell University on Friday, Feb. 8 for preliminary bouts starting at 5 p.m.
