Penn Col­lege Downs Greater Alleghe­ny 39 – 16

MCKEESPORT, Pa. - Dropping only three bouts, the Pennsylvania College of Technology wrestling team defeated Penn State Greater Allegheny 39-16 Tuesday. Junior Tyler Myers (Centre Hall), sophomore Austin Clark (Elysburg) and freshman Daniel Frankenfield (Dushore) each recorded pins. With the win, the Wildcats improve to 9-7 overall and 4-0 in the Penn State University Athletic Conference.
At 157, Myers recorded the fasted pin of the night at 43 seconds. This year he is 14-1 overall with 10 pins. Sophomore Paul Crutchlow (Morris Plains, N.J.) had a tough 235 bout edging out Andre Ellis 3-1 in overtime.
Next up, Penn College hosts Stony Brook College and West Chester University for a tri-match on Saturday, Jan. 19.
