Apprentice Ends Regular Season With 26 – 21 Win Over Washington & Lee
LEXINGTON, VA. – The Apprentice School wrestling team finished its regular season on Saturday with a 26-21 win over Washington & Lee University on Saturday to close with a 19-8 record.
Junior Ty Ford opened the dual at 125 pounds winning by a forfeit and senior Marcus Chevres followed with a 3-2 victory at 133 pounds to put the Builders up 9-0 early. W&L responded with the next five victories as Connor Duffey (141) and David Dennis (157) won by fall in that stretch to help put the Generals ahead 21-9.
Freshman Justin Martz helped the Builders close out the dual winning by a 16-0 tech fall
