Three Wrestlers Named To First NCWA All-Academic Team
NEWPORT NEWS, VA. -- For the first time ever, the National Collegiate Wrestling Association recognized its student-athletes with an All-Academic team and three Apprentice School wrestlers made the 147-person list.
Junior Ricky Anderson, sophomore Stuart Roes and freshman Willy Crawford were recognized on the NCWA All-Academic team for having a greater than 3.0 grade point average for the 2010-11 wrestling season. To be recognized you had to have at least a 3.0 grade point average and be a NCWA All-American or a 3.25 grade point average and a national qualifier.
