Panthers surprise at Rio Grande

In their first invitational as a club, the University of Pittsburgh's Panther Wrestling Club placed three wrestlers to take seventh overall.
Entering only five wrestlers in the tournament, including four freshmen and a junior, freshmen Suk Jong Ko at 125 and Derrick Jusczak at 165 both took third while fellow freshman Cody Shue took fourth at 174.
All of the wrestlers competed for the first time this season, leading to a welcome finish as the Panthers gain experience in the NCWA.
