West Virginia University Institute of Technology Team Press Releases Walters named NWCA-NCWA All Academic Team Selection | 10/08/2012 -
MONTGOMERY, W.Va. - WVU Tech wrestling standout John Walters has been named to the 2011-2012 NWCA-NCWA All-Academic Team by the National Wrestling Coaches Assocation. The two-time NAIA Nationals qualifier (141 lb. and 149 lb.) will be a leader on this year's squad and play a pivotal role with his experience, academic achievement, and hard work ethic.
Walters is a native of Camden, Delaware, who is majoring in athletic coaching education.
