Team Press ReleasesGegg Earns USCAA Wrestler of the Week Honors | 12/14/2011 -
Belleville, Ill. - Sophomore wrestler Jake Gegg was named Wrestler of the Week as announced by the United States Collegiate Athletic Association on Tuesday.
Gegg finished in the top eight this weekend at the Lindenwood - St. Charles Open, going 4-2 on the week. Gegg highlighted the week defeating the NCWA No. 3-ranked wrestler in his weight class.
This marks the first Wrestler of the Week honor for Lindenwood - Belleville. The Lynx's next competition is Sunday, December 4, at the Maryville Open in St. Louis, Mo.
