EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. - SIUE wrestling welcomes Purdue and Truman State Sunday for a triangular at the Student Fitness Center.
SIUE, 0-5, hopes to gain its first win of the season. The meet starts with Purdue vs. Truman at 1 p.m. followed by SIUE vs. Truman at 2:30 p.m. and SIUE vs. Purdue at 4 p.m.
SIUE Head Coach David Ray announced his lineup for the matches. They are listed below.
Ray also noted that freshman Derek Nagel, wrestling unattached, recently placed second at 184 pounds at the 22nd Annual Art Kraft Tournament. Nagel was defeated in the championship match 7-5 by Michael Johnson of Lincoln College, the No. 2 ranked 184 pounder among NJCAA competitors.
