The University of New Hampshire won the Northeast Conference qualifying tournament placing 14 wrestlers and sending 11 to the NCWA Nationals in Daytona,Fl. UNH scoring 170 points surprised perennial conference and national powers Navy Prep, 152.5 pts. and MIT, 109.5 pts. UNH had 5 wrestlers in the finals, P. Terrin, B. Paige, D. Lochard, S. Gaughan, C Rideout, I Wedemeyer. Coach Henry Marsh, UNH was named Coach of the Year and Corey Graham, UMass was Student Leader of the Year. |
