I am currently a member of the college Southeastern Officials Association, which covers schools from Div 1 (ACC, SOCON) to NAIA schools in the Southeastern states.
I am currently the head of USA Wrestling Officials for the state of Alabama. I have officiated post-season wrestling (sectional, state) every year, including my first year as a state registered official. I continue to officiate the toughest competitions in our state and in the Southeast. I am always in the rulebooks and videos because I give training sessions to younger officials weekly.
As a wrestler:
I was a five-time national champion wrestler in high school. I was a 5-time state placer, a state champion, and wrestled on a nationally ranked wrestling team. I was recruited by West Point Academy and other Div. 1 schools, but I was not able to wrestle in college due to several knee surgeries (ACL tears).
