UMass Amherst Prepares for 09'-10' Season

The University of Massachusetts Amherst Wrestling Team begins their Season on November 14th at the Veterans Day tournament in Albany New York. Last year the Minutemen completed their best season with six wrestlers qualifying for Nationals and their first All-American. This year the team returns 4 national qualifiers led by Captains Matt Clement, (Sr) Jonathan Santiago (Sr), and Sam Wilcox (Jr) Having graduated two 3X National qualifiers the squad is hoping to draw from their growing ranks and compete for a Conference title in the NEC. The Team will also be adapting to a new home as they are moving to a brand new Wrestling Room, in the Universities newly completed Athletics Recreation Center.
