Southern Virginia's Peter Rose Named Outstanding Wrestler

The Southern Virginia University Knights earned fourth place out of fourteen teams at the Apprentice School Invitational on January 24, 2009. SVU finished only half a point out of third place.
SVU's Peter Rose won first at 157 pounds and was named the tournament's outstanding wrestler--an impressive feat given the high level of competition. Brandon Flood won second place at 133 pounds, and Jonathan Eldredge won fourth place at 165 pounds.
SVU will next compete January 28, when it hosts Washington & Lee University at 7:00 p.m.
