Governors late season kicks off

The Austin Peay State Governors will finally open the 2008-2009 season this Saturday on the road to face Tennessee Temple University in an intriguing match. " We are ready to wrestle someone other than our team stated," Head Coach Anthony Shingler. "We are still missing some of our key weights but our first year guys need this match to get experience, We are still young" Austin Peay has added Coach Johnny Masters to the coaching staff.. Shingler went on to say that this addition is " huge for our program and will give us more options in the practice room as well as more knowledge from a coach with a long list of high school state placers and a college All-American." The Govs also added former Tennessee state runner-up Jason Pennington to the roster.
