Miami Takes Home Duals

The host Miami Redhawks won the second annual Ohio Duals, winning five duals over the course of the day. The Redhawks defeated Wright State 53-9, Rio Grande 48-17 and University of Toledo 29-25 to win their pool. In the championship pool, Miami rolled past Bowling Green 43-12 and won an exciting final match-up against Ohio State 23-21, in a match decided by a pin by Miami's heavyweight. Brad White, 157, and Chris Kostel, 174, were both 5-0 on the day, both maintaining perfect records on the year. The five wins brings Miami's team dual record to 7-3 heading into the last couple weeks before regionals.
