UMBC goes 4-0, wins Scranton Duals

SCRANTON, PA. -- The University of Maryland- Baltimore County wrestling team went 4-0 Saturday to win the Electric City Duals at The University of Scranton. UMBC beat The Apprentice School, 39-12; host Scranton, 32-15; Penn College of Technology, 49-12; and Penn State-Dubois, 47-6.

Four UMBC wrestlers went undefeated at the event: Freshman Sean Kellett (125 / Shelton HS), a Connecticut state champ last year; Senior Kekura Musa (141 / Blair HS); Daniel Carr (149 / Southern-Garrett HS); and Mike Munno (174 / DeMatha HS). Junior Martin Mitchell (157 / Laurel HS), Sophomore Curtis Taylor (165 / South River HS), Sophomore Mike Massarelli (184 / Atholton HS) and Junior Alec Pence (197 / Chopticon HS) all went 3-1.

UMBC's next home dual meet in this Wednesday night at 7 p.m. against conference opponent Penn College of Technology.
